The heart of Egre’s tavern in Rafina has a great history and offers Greek cuisine. From here in 1940-1944, Stavros Egres, along with other Rafinians, fled the Greeks and the English to the Middle East. There is also a song called “Alexandria-Rafina going those years”, which characterizes these events. In the tavern were also filmed and TV films such as “Psarogiannis”, “The dyed red hair” and “Three widows” by K. Koutsomitis. So her tradition continues from grandfather to daughter and now to grandson, current owner Stavros Delimanolis. The menu is inspired by traditional and Asian recipes served on your plate full of delicacies. Try the local and delicious pork steak, kebab, savory minced meat in spicy recipes and the rest of well-cooked and cooked homemade meat.
