Paralosgallery.com is a specialist website for collectors and lovers of Antique Maps, Prints and Books.

We offer Antique maps of all over the World; Atlases; Antique prints and engravings; Travel and illustrated books; Early printed books and Classical texts.

Our Antique maps are mainly of the 16th and 17th centuries, and cover all parts of the World, and are guaranteed authentic . We do not sell reproductions.

We have a special focus on Greece; Antique Maps, Prints and Travel books. If there is a particular island or place in Greece you are looking for we endeavor to provide it if, if it exists.

We also have an extensive stock of genre engravings, Mythological; Historical and Philhellenic subjects. Greece was an important country on the Grand Tour and as such there are a wealth of fascinating Travel books such as Stuart and Revett ‘s “Antiquities of Athens”, Louis Dupre’s “Voyage a Constantinople.” and the geographical works of Olfert Dapper to mention a few.

As many of the travelers continued further in to the Middle East we also have a wide range of antique maps and prints of Turkey, Egypt and the Holy Land, including lithographs by David Roberts and plates from the “Description de L’Egypt”

Antique prints: Topographical; Decorative; Natural History: including a large choice of lithographs by John Gould; Costume prints; Architectural engravings; Naval and Military prints.

We also specialize in early printed Classical texts, mainly of the 16th and 17th Century, published by the famous houses of Aldus, Estienne, Guinta, Wechel, Operinus and Froben amongst others. Ancient and Classical Greek authors covering History, Science, Geography, Philosophy and Literature in the original Greek or with parallel Greek and Latin text.

With over twenty five years in the Antiquarian Book, Map and Print selling business, we attempt to supply our customers with high quality material at realistic prices.

We are long term exhibitors at The London Map Fair every June.
